The Food Network and Good Eats

The Food Network is great. No doubt about it. This is an interesting article about the Food Network's evolution since its inception. My only beef (no pun intended) with the article is the reference to Good Eats as "science" programming. Good Eats cannot and should not be distilled into so rough a category. Rather, Good Eats is all things (including but not limited to): humor, knowledge, love, and good eats.

Alton Brown - intrepid host of Good Eats - has a way of making complicated recipes accessible. I recommend Good Eats (and good eats) to all.
