I'm not sure if anyone out there caught the first "The Forsyte Saga" see IMDB here starring Damian Lewis of "Band of Brothers" fame. Anyway, if you did, and you enjoyed it, the next installment begins this Sunday night on PBS. See NY Times article here.
I wasn't a huge fan of the first Forsyte - it's certainly not as good as some other A&E or BBC productions (such as Wives & Daughters or Pride & Prejudice) but it wasn't bad either. Damian Lewis, in my opinion, is an excellent actor. And unlike many British actors playing Americans, he does so without sounding like he has marbles in his mouth. Bravo.
Point being, the first one wasn't great, but it was decent, and it's exciting (for me, at least) to see stuff like this released (even if only on PBS).
