At Malvo's Trial, a Judge Much in Charge - NY Times

This judge sounds cool. A quote:

Thomas Walsh, another Malvo lawyer, may have reacted too visibly to a ruling by the judge.

"Mr. Walsh," she said, "I don't appreciate your shaking your head `no' in response to my rulings. You need to work on your poker face."

Mr. Walsh apologized energetically.

"I'll bake you a nice cake, Mr. Walsh," the judge said. Her expression suggested that Mr. Walsh might want to stick to pie.
